• Appleton has a population of approximately 72,000 people. However, Appleton is located in the center of the Fox Cities, so then the perspective of what is available to Appleton residents appears much greater. The Fox Cities population totals to approximately 125,000 people, therefore local residents and guests can benefit from a wide range of experiences throughout this immediate area.
   
• We are so pleased to tell our guests that Appleton has been voted the safest city in the United States two times. The location of our inn is in a safe downtown historical neighborhood. Walking through our neighborhood, you will find a church on every corner in a six block area. As you plan your sites of interest, you will find that walking, biking, riding the city bus, or using a car are all possible ways to enjoy the area.
   
• We have created a guest directory and placed a copy in each room and suite. You should find this guest directory helpful after checking in so you can make the most of your visit to the Fox Cities. We have a list of our personal recommendations and guest favorite attractions and dining establishments. Of course, many of these win great reviews because they are within walking distance of the inn or have won our local “Crown Fork” awards. You will be very lucky to have a wide variety of dining options: merely casual experiences for an amazing sandwich to the best pizza ever or a gourmet restaurant to enhance a very special celebration. Sure Appleton has many chain-type restaurants, but our local “Mom & Pop” restaurants, coffee shops and brew pubs will really leave you with an impression of what our area has to offer!
